[A3] Mishra Piloo, In Thumbri Style
[B1] Raga Puriya Dhanashri
[B2] Raga Charu Keshi

The above track list reflects the record's actual track sequence and matches the LP labels.

The track list on the record and labels are incorrect, reversing the two sides. The back cover represents the intended track listing, consistent with the 1958 and 1965 releases of this material, as listed below:

A1. Raga Puriya Dhanashri
A2. Raga Charu Keshi
B1. Kafi-Holi (Spring Festival Of Colors)
B2. Dhun (Folk Airs)
B3. Mishra Piloo, In Thumri Style

A look at the runout matrix numbers hints at how this could have happened.
The 1958 pressing has matrix numbers such that the A side is incrementally higher than the B side.
This release has crossed out text in the runouts. Text in square brackets represents the crossed out characters:
1: 3035-[A]B
2: [3036-B] 3034-A
Thus, a mastering engineer going by matrix numbers referencing the tapes could easily have associated the lower number with Side A, ending up backwards. He probably filled out the forms for the labels which were subsequently printed to that specification.

Thus we end up with a correctly labeled side mixup!

The 1963 Mono mastering as well as the 1999 Angel CD also proliferate the same track mix-up.

First cat.nr. on labels, second on spine and back cover.
